Look Hot At The Pool With The Skirtini

July 20, 2010  //  Posted by: admin  //  Category: plus size women clothing

The skirtini is making a splash this year with its cute and sexy styles that are extremely womanly  but you are covered. A skirtini is a adorable swimsuit that has a tankini at the top but has a skirted bottom. That means a lot more coverage than a standard bikini but a lot more playful!

A Complementary Style for Anyone

No matter what size or shape you have the skirtini will appear great on you. Depending on the style you choose, you might work some magic on your figure and do things like play down the areas of your body you’re not happy with while playing up the ones that you are. No matter what your tastes are – a girl next door look, sexy, modest or flirty and fun – there is a skirtini for you. The return of the swimdress is what led to the popularity of the skirtini. These bathing suits are a wonderful reminder of a time when women appeared glamorous even at the pool, such as in the times of Marilyn Monroe. As a matter of fact, she was often photographed in a skirtini and those photos remain capable of getting a guy’s pulse racing today!

Versatility You’ll Love

The best thing of all about the skirtini is its versatility. By having two pieces you may have a skirtini which really shows off your bust and conceals your bottom half if that is your desire, or you can choose a design that has a ruffled or detailed bottom to truly show off your bottom and legs. If you want to focus the eye away from your bust area then opt for tamer skirtini top piece. If you want to totally hide your belly region than you’ll wish to select a skirtini top and a skirtini bottom which fully meets in the middle which provides complete coverage for your tummy. And, my personal favorite part about that is that you can always pull it up when you’re laying back and enjoying just a little tanning time.

Stay Covered – Seem Sexy

The skirtini truly is quite flattering to any body size, shape and age making it one of the most versatile bathing suits you can purchase. You can appear sexy while still being as covered as you wish to be or you may choose a style that’s all about flirty, sexy fun. The options are so large that you will have difficulty picking just one!

If I Wear Koolaburra Boots Will I Still Look Cool?

July 19, 2010  //  Posted by: admin  //  Category: plus size women clothing

Sheepskin boots seem to be popular all year round, from the US to the UK. There are many ladies that wear their sheepskin boots throughout the summer months as well as during the winter months. So how do you stay ‘cool’ (as in fashionable, not cold) in Koolaburra boots? The Koolaburra brand is a direct rival to the UGG boot name. The thing that is becoming increasingly evident, however, is the fact that there are more sheepskin boot brands on the market and more people wearing them, which is why some are concerned that they may not still look ‘cool’ of they wear Koolaburra boots.

Unfortunately, society today has made women want to be as individual as possible and some are concerned that wearing Koolaburra boots won’t give them that individuality because, after all, they are still sheepskin boots that are seen on so many people. The good news is that although Koolaburras are sheepskin boots, they are not your standard type of boot and are really quite unique with their designs, which makes them feel much ‘cooler’ and more fashionable. In the US, there are many ladies that have already fallen in love with the Koolaburra brand but in the UK, they are still relatively unknown and ladies here can get a real fashion advantage!

You don’t need to visit a big UK city to realise that UGG boots are everywhere. You know what they look like – the classic sheepskin boot design wit the iconic UGG label at the back. However, it would be much harder for UK individuals to spot Koolaburra boots. UK fashionistas are only just waking up to the world of Koolaburra, so that means you can buy your Koolaburra boots today and be one step ahead of everyone else in the fashion stakes.

There is no doubt that Koolaburra is a unique brand in the world of sheepskin boots. You can wear your Koolaburras with pride and know that there are very few people just like you in the UK at present. With the popularity of Koolaburra in the US, it’s sure to transcend to British waters, but you can be streets ahead of the rest by buying your Koolaburras now and be confident that you really do look ‘cool’.

Can You Fit Into Ladies Designer Clothes?

July 18, 2010  //  Posted by: admin  //  Category: plus size women clothing

If you’re someone that isn’t stick thin and yet still likes to look good, it can be hard finding ladies designer clothes that fit you perfectly. It’s a good thing if you have curves, but fashion designers don’t seem to think like that and that’s why their clothes always run much smaller than high street labels. Years of designer fashion creations have never really varied from the idea that they are designed for slim women, but with size 0 models promoting designer clothes these days, have things just gone a bit too far?

Naturally, women want to look and feel good which is why ladies designer clothes are such a popular option. The problem starts when curvy ladies find they can’t buy top designer clothes because they simply can’t get into them! Women are spending more time trying to find a designer that actually makes clothes in their size so they can feel good about themselves.

Many people do not realise that ladies designer clothes and high street fashions do vary quite a bit in sizing, so try not to get too down about the sizing issue because a size UK10 in high street could quite easily end up being a size UK 14 in designer. There are even many genuinely slim women who get frustrated with designer clothes and the small sizing.

It is clear that fashion designers make their clothes slightly smaller so that they look their very best when on the catwalk and being worn by the very thin models. However, the reality is that there are many women of different shapes and sizes that still want to be able to wear the latest ladies designer clothes. It is sad that many fashion designers only envisage slim women wearing their clothes.

There is a glimmer of hope though, in that there are many fashion designers now creating pieces that do cater for the real woman and sizing doesn’t run small with all brands. The ever-popular Juicy Couture used to be one for making clothes very small, but a Juicy size Large is now perfect for a UK14, so fingers crossed other brands follow suit.

Make Your Clothes Work For You!

July 17, 2010  //  Posted by: admin  //  Category: plus size women clothing

Whether your main concern is what the best forex indicator is or what to make the kids for lunch, the way you dress can really affect the way you feel no matter who you are. For those of us who are big on top or curvy shall we say you may find that high necklines make it look like your boobs are growing from your chin so make sure to go for lower cut v-neck or scoop neck tops and make the most of those lovely assets as yours! Add in a nice pair of fitted jeans or trousers and you’ll look amazing!

If you’re slim or you don’t have much cleavage going on then you need to maximise other parts of your body, cover up your bony breastbone and show off toned arms or lovely legs, a woman’s assets don’t need to be solely based on the bust area! If you’re really wanting some shape in the department however invest in some good plastic implants for your bra or get one with them built in.

If you’re tall you might think heels are a no go but this really isn’t true. In all honesty if you’re 6 foot 2 do you think an extra inch is really going to make people point and stare? Don’t become the ‘girl in flat shoes’ embrace your height, after all most super models are 6 foot and over!

For the shorter lady do not ever make the mistake of thinking three quarter length pants will make your legs look longer, they will not and they never ever will! So that’s that myth blown out of the water!

What you need to do is trick the eye, a long fish tail skirt teamed with some 4 inch heels makes it so people don’t know how long your legs are so if you’re 5 foot then this outfit will turn you into 5 foot 4 inches immediately!

Remember ladies, if you’re a PLR expert or a mommy who wants to look good, you can do it, its not hard, just remember as well when you go shopping, it might look great on the hanger but what does it really do for you?

Choose The Right Glasses Frames For Your Complexion

July 12, 2010  //  Posted by: admin  //  Category: plus size women clothing

A massive number of people wear glasses in the UK and abroad, and whilst for some they remain a necessity, for many they’re an in-style fashion accessory. With the summer now here, lots of people are looking for the right look, and your choice of glasses and frame can play a bit part in that.

To that end, here’s a guide to the many different colours of prescription glasses and frames available to buy, to suit your complexion.

Blue: blue is an excellent colour for those with dark complexions, and a sky blue is especially good for red heads – try a light blue or sky blue with thin frames to suit your hair colour perfectly. Oakley sunglasses make some really nice light blue frames, so check them out for a good place to start.

Purple: purple (and generally any light, lavender tones) will work well with particularly light complexions. Darker shades of purple are more suited to those with dark hair.

Orange or Yellow: these colours can be tough as they tend to clash with lots of complexions. Probably best to avoid these colours if you’re unsure, although if you do want to go with them they tend to work best with very dark complexions.

Red: red is a fantastic colour for making a statement and can make you stand out in a crowd of people. Red heads should avoid dark reds as these will generally clash with their skin tone; if you are a read head and want to try red frames, aim for a lighter ‘tomato’ kind of red. Go for a strong red (ruby, emerald, etc) if you have dark hair with a light complexion, as the contrast works perfectly with the strong red frames. People with a lighter complexion and hair will want to go for a far softer red, almost pink in tone.

Green: the perfect colour combination for those with red har, dark greens (such as racing green) work extremely well with red hair. If you have a dark complexion, aim for a teal colour, although deep lime frames can also draw a lot of attention to your face. Those with lighter complexions should opt for a peppermint shade, as they should be staying away from the darker colours in general.

Pink: pink is a good colour for those with dark complexions, although they can also work well with a lighter complexion in very light shades.
